LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (BIRDCAGE WALK, OTLEY LEEDS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) NOTICE 2018

WHEREAS Leeds City Council is the traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District; and

WHEREAS cover and frame renewal works are to take place.

TAKE NOTICE that in the interests of public safety it is considered necessary to prohibit vehicular use of Birdcage Walk, Otley Leeds between its junctions with  Oakdene and Chevin Close.

DIVERSIONARY ROUTE: A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via West Chevin Road, Burras Lane, Station Road, Bondgate, Gay Lane, East Chevin Road, Birdcage Walk and vice versa.

{Access to pedestrians, property and for emergency vehicles and construction traffic will be maintained}.

PERIOD OF WORKS/RESTRICTIONS: The works are to take place overnight between 19:00 hours on Wednesday 10 October and 06:00 hours on Thursday 11 October 2018.
