Otley is located 10 minutes from Leeds and Bradford Airport by car / taxi and there is a regular bus service in to Otley.
Train

Dales Bus Service
The DalesBus network is managed by Dales and Bowland Community Interest Company, a small social enterprise established by the Yorkshire Dales Society with support from Friends of DalesBus in 2007 and run by 9 unpaid volunteers. They operate services throughout the year, mainly on Sundays and Bank Holidays – around 15 different services during the summer months and 5 during the winter – providing access into popular parts of the Dales.
The DalesBus website www.dalesbus.org provides travel information for the Yorkshire Dales, timetable details for most bus services operating in the Dales, plus updates and links to other websites of interest to visitors. Updates are also available on Twitter @DalesBus
The DalesBus Timetable booklet is produced by Metro in conjunction with Dales & Bowland CIC and with financial support from North Yorkshire County Council. The Otley Action for Older People Community Bus
The Otley Action for Older People Community Bus is available for hire and is being run under the guidelines of the old Community Bus.
To hire the vehicle, you need to be an affiliated member of OAOP (pre-OAOP members are still eligible). In order to become affiliated, your organisation must be a non-profit making association or club, eg charity, school, church, scout group etc.
To hire the bus, or to find out about affiliation requirements and to apply for an application form to become affiliated, please contact OAOP on 01943 463965 or 01943 467106. The bus can be hired with or without a driver for the same charge. All OAOP’s drivers are MIDAS (Minibus Drivers’ Awareness Scheme) professionally trained and anyone wishing to drive the bus on a members’ behalf must undergo an assessment drive by OAOP’s trainer/assessor. Charges for the bus are aimed at affordability for the groups and associations who are likely to use the vehicle.
