Leeds City Council Planning Authority
Leeds City Council is the Planning Authority and manages the whole process of planning and is responsible for making the decision as to whether an application is granted or refused. Otley Council is a planning consultee for Otley and as such considers all planning applications relating to the town / parish at the Planning Sub Committee. The Otley Planning Sub Committee makes observations or objections which are sent to Leeds City Council Planning for consideration.

All planning applications to be considered by Otley Town Council are included in the Agendas for each Planning Sub Committee meeting. If you have any comments please email them to the Executive Officer on EO@otleytowncouncil.gov.uk by 2pm on the day of the relevant Planning Sub Committee meeting.
Please be aware there are no committees during the summer recess and any comments relating to planning applications during this period should be emailed to EO@otleytowncouncil.gov.uk
