Otley Community Fund
Otley Town Council runs a Community Grant Fund to support community groups that are delivering projects, activities and events that benefit all or some of the residents within Otley.
This Fund is limited in terms of available resource, so even if your project is planned for later in the financial year, you are encouraged to apply as early as possible. In the event of the all the monies being allocated it will be announced that the Fund has closed.
Applications can only be received from groups with a constitution, a group with at least three officers and holds a bank account.
Applications WILL NOT be considered from individuals, groups and organisations with a religious or political aim, profit making businesses or private organisations, pressure groups including those formed by residents and national/international charities.
The Community Fund has no limit on how much grant your group can apply for and larger amounts will be allocated for worthwhile projects.
Any group/organisation can only make one application in any financial year (April to March) and grant support will not be made retrospectively.
Support will not be provided to fund groups/organisations running costs and salaries, but typically is available to support: venue and equipment hire; publicity such as printing costs; assistance towards costs for staging an event or festival; and enabling groups to run a community initiative such as equipment/materials, publicity materials, training costs.
