Civic Service

The Annual Civic Service is to welcome the new Mayor of Otley and is held at one of the local churches. The newly elected Mayor of Otley always extends a warm welcome to the people of Otley to attend this special morning service.

Remembrance Sunday

The parade commences at 2.15pm from Station Road and marches to the local church for a Service of Remembrance followed by the Act of Remembrance and wreath laying ceremony in the Remembrance Garden on Bondgate.

The countdown to Christmas officially starts with the annual Otley lights switch-on held in the Market Place. This event is held on a Monday evening at the end of November or the beginning of December.
